Belfast to Bangor Track Relaying
This contract involves the re-lay/
renewal of 18.4km of twin track on the Belfast
to Bangor line in Northern Ireland, and to remodel
the approaches to the recently refurbished Bangor
Station.
Covered Ways - 12 & 58 Kensington
High Street, London
Covered Ways 12 & 58 are parallel
structures that carry Kelso Place above the District
Line between Earls Court and High Street Kensington,
and the Circle Line between Gloucester Road and
High Street Kensington.
Mowlem Rail has successfully won
the 3 year renewable Infrastructure Maintenance
Contract to carry out the Maintenance on the Croydon
Tramlink system running from the centre of Croydon
and radiating out to Wimbledon, Beckenham Junction
and New Addington. The system consist of 28km
of track with 38 Tram Stops and depot
This design and build contract
on phase 2 of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link is
the larger of two temporary infrastructure projects
on the overall scheme.
Train movements in the Didcot area
were limited by route functions between the Main
lines and the Oxford lines or Didcot Station in
either direction, thus impacting timetables of
passenger trains and the operation of engineering
trains.
Battling against adverse weather
to bring this project in on time, Mowlem Railways
have won much acclaim from Railtrack in bringing
into reality this depot in Southern England.
In order to provide reversal facilities
for Virgin Trains Cross-Country service using
Reading station, Railtrack contracted Mowlem Railways
to design, construct, test and commission improved
track layout and signalling system.
Mowlem Rail in conjunction with
Mowlem Civil Engineering have been contracted
to reinstate the bridge to its original Permanent
Way Design by removing the existing sleepered
track and reinstating new longitudinal rail timbers.
